To complete your Highland outfit, we recommend a pair of dress highland brogues. Regular black dress shoes for evening wear are perfectly adequate initially, but as you continue to wear your kilt you will probably want to complete your outfit. The most common shoe for highland wear is the ghillie brogue, which has long laces crossing back and forth over the open instep and then tying round the ankle. They come in black leather. The illustration shows the Ghillie Brogue style.
